Teaching with a Difference
Neurodiversity-Informed ADHD Support for Schools and Education Professionals
Practical, compassionate ADHD and neurodiversity support for schools in East Sussex and across the UK.
Grounded in lived experience, former teaching practice, and strengths-based approaches.
Supporting Neurodivergent Learners Is Complex
Schools are under increasing pressure to support neurodivergent students while balancing academic demands, behaviour policies, safeguarding, and family relationships.
Executive function challenges, emotional regulation needs, and parent–teacher communication can quickly become areas of tension.
Strategies that look clear on paper do not always translate into the classroom.
Neurodiversity-informed support helps create more joined-up, sustainable approaches that reduce stress for students, families, and staff.

Why Teaching with a Difference?
I am a former primary teacher, an ADHD parent coach, and a late-diagnosed ADHDer.
I understand both the classroom context and the lived experience of neurodivergent families. This dual perspective allows for practical, compassionate guidance that bridges systems rather than blaming them.
Also Supporting Parents of Neurodivergent Children
Teaching with a Difference also provides ADHD parent coaching across the UK.
