ADHD Parent Coaching for Neurodivergent Families

Practical, strengths-based ADHD parent coaching for parents who are overwhelmed, burnt out, or stuck trying to support a neurodivergent child in a world that was not built for them.

Based in Hailsham, East Sussex, with online ADHD parent coaching available across the UK.

When Parenting Feels Constantly Hard

Parenting a child with ADHD or other neurodivergent traits can feel relentless.

Many parents arrive feeling exhausted and unsure of themselves. They have tried routines, reward charts, consequences, and well-meaning advice, yet life at home still feels tense, chaotic, or emotionally draining. Often, the problem is not effort or love. It is that the strategies they were given were never designed for a neurodivergent family.

This is where ADHD parent coaching can help.

What ADHD Parent Coaching Is (and Isn’t)

This is parent coaching for neurodivergent families, not a programme to “fix” your child or tell you how to parent.

Coaching is a supportive space to:

There is no judgement, no ticking boxes, and no expectation that you need to become a different kind of parent.

Who This Support Is For

This service is for parents who:

Are parenting a child with ADHD or other neurodivergent profiles
Feel burnt out, overwhelmed, or constantly firefighting
Are dealing with meltdowns, shutdowns, or emotional regulation challenges
Feel stuck in cycles of nagging, conflict, or guilt
Are trying to support executive function without pushing themselves past exhaustion
Want support that feels understanding rather than critical

You do not need a diagnosis to work with me.

You do not need to have everything figured out.

What We Focus On in Coaching

Every family is different, so our work is always tailored. Areas we may explore include:

The aim is not perfection. It is making things feel more manageable and less heavy.

How Coaching Works

ADHD parent coaching sessions are:

We work collaboratively. You bring your experience of your child and family. I bring lived experience, professional insight, and a calm, non-judgemental space to think things through.

Why Teaching with a Difference?

I am an ADHD parent coach, a former teacher, and a late-diagnosed ADHDer.

I understand the education system, the pressures parents face, and the emotional weight of trying to do the right thing while feeling constantly judged. I also know that most parents do not need more advice. They need understanding, clarity, and support that fits their reality.

My approach is:

Strengths-based, not deficit-focused
Neurodivergent-affirming and non-judgemental
Grounded in lived experience, not just theory
Practical, realistic, and compassionate

This approach supports better outcomes for neurodivergent children, stronger parent–school relationships, and reduced burnout for the adults involved.

Getting Started with ADHD Parent Coaching

The first step is a conversation.

You do not need a diagnosis.

You do not need a clear plan.

You do not need to know what the “problem” is yet.

We can start by talking things through together.
